Mrs. Creamer is originally from Philadelphia, PA. She became interested in the violin after seeing Itzhak Perlman on Sesame Street and began lessons at age 4. She picked up the viola her junior year of High School while at Point Counter Point under the direction of Paul Roby. Growing up she studied with Patricia Licetti, Julian Meyer, and Davyd Booth on violin; she also studied with Che-Hun Chen on viola. Mrs. Creamer received her BM in Viola Performance from Boston University in 2011, where she studied with Edward Gazouleas. She then went on to receive her MM in Music Education from Boston University in 2012, and her CAGS in Educational Administration from the University of Massachusetts: Boston in 2016. Mrs. Creamer is currently the Past-Chair for the Massachusetts Music Educators Association: Eastern District, and previously served as the Eastern District Senior Festival Orchestra Manager, and Violin adjudicator for both the Eastern and Northeastern Districts. Prior to teaching strings in Bedford, Mrs. Creamer taught in Weston, Wilmington, and Lynn. She teaches strings to grades 4 and 5 at the Lane School; and Concert Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, and Multi-media Music Production at Bedford High School.
